I think we should make a thread all about teaching computing things like how to make a website etc it will get people un-bored.

Threads like those could be made in the Tech Junky's Paradise (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=39). Maybe you could go ahead and make one yourself?

Go on make a thread then, you don't need the permission of anyone to make one, it's also pretty funny to say it will get people un-bored because quite frankly computing bores me

Then what are you talking about? Way to fail to elaborate, bud.

But as far the OP reads to me, I agree with Jess. Drop it in TJP and have fun.

Why does their need to be a whole section just for mincraft or servers? About 98% of the people on here wouldn't use it because we're not a computing forum we're a teen help forum, feel free to make thread about it but we don't need a whole forum for something so limited

Then make a diary. I promise this type of section would not gain the interest you believe it would.

Calm down, maybe if you explained your idea then we would understand it, you can just make a thread because we're not going to make a whole sub forum for a new member

what is this i dont even...

I think that a thread like that would be better for a tech forum, not VT honestly. The tech junky area is just for random things. Plus there's tons of different tech things, making something on VT like that will just be weird. Too complicated.

As Origami said, once you reach the requirements (100 posts and two months on Vt), request a diary. We don't need a whole forum for minecraft servers and coding and such. Anything tech related can go in Tech Junkies Paradise (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=39). Honestly, you just joined yesterday. Take some time and get to know the site first. I'm positive you'll find TJP or a diary just fine for what you want.

As Harry Smith said, we're a help site, not a computer site. Of course, we cater to the interestd of teens, so yeah we have forums for these things, but we can't add a forum for everything. It just gets way to cluttered and draws VT away from it's main goal - to help teens. If you're looking for a computing based site, VT might not be the place for you. Of course we have people who play minecraft and would take part in a coding discussion, but it's just not what VT is about if you get what I'm saying.

Also, no need to get all defensive, he didn't mean offense in calling you a new member, anyone who just recently joined would be referred to as a new member.

So you want to add a whole new section for "computing teaching"? If that's what you mean, there's no need for that. (And there's a difference between threads and forum sections; apologizes if you really mean threads)

Everything you described falls nicely into Tech Junkies Paradise. No need to have 4/5 subforums that will get hardly and activity when split up when we can have one pretty active section that does the job.
