So I develop feelings for girls really easily and once they say they don't like me back/friendzone me or something else problematic happens, it's hard to pick myself back up and get back into life. I just wanted to know who else goes through this and, if you have any, some tips to get back up more easily? I ask because there's this girl I like right now, and we're friends, but she doesn't show signs of liking me more than that. I'm thinking I should just move on but it's hard for me to do that.

I'm not sure about the friendzone as it has only happened to me once or twice, but I've been rejected many times. Some let me down easy and say I'm not their type or they like someone else, some send me to a black hole and tell all their friends how the weird guy had the nerve to ask her out. You have to develop a thick skin to these things and not take it personally if someone doesn't reciprocate your feelings, if you don't, you'll find yourself wallowing and giving up, allowing yourself to permanently lose. It's hard, sure, but even a massive loser like myself gets a girlfriend now and again which more than makes up for all the humiliation and rejections, trust me. All it takes is one and, when you find her, none of this shit will matter anymore.

That happens to me too, but it's 100x worse because the last few people I liked were straight guys. Which makes it even harder to deal with.

Honestly from my experience I would say that the less you worry about it the sooner you will be in a relationship.
