How do I approach her?

A younger girl at school (shes a sophomore I'm a senior) has been very friendly AND flirty to me. I'm pretty certain she likes me. She's a great person and I think she's very bright, and it's a nice plus that she's cute too. BUT we haven't really been close as friends so how do I approach her so that we can start talking. Thanks!

Why not get close to where she is, say Hi, and just talk to her about something, maybe how weird the weather has been lately, random topic. Be confident, and start to know her by talking.

If she is interested she will continue talking to you.

Asking her out right out of the blue isn't a good move, it won't do much good, just gonna come out as shocking. Since you go to the same school, you probably see each other pretty often, so just hang out with her a bit more. Talk to her - ask her how she's doing and stuff like that, just idle chatter, doesn't matter what.

Talk to her. Thats awkward you will be in college and she will still be in highschool unless she was a year behind you.
