Who else is interested in aviation??

I'm an air traffic controller, so aviation is a pretty big deal for me.

I enjoy my job very much. Granted the schooling is very tough and I went through an accelerated program to boot. Also, you must learn to deal with high stress situations on a regular basis. But it is very rewarding.

I'm currently finishing flight school to gain my private pilot license while at the same time studying to become an ATC ( Air Traffic Controller) so in my case aviation is a passion. Even simulators makes me really happy. I was in a b747-400, b737NGX, a321, a340, and a380 flight simulators when I toured the local Boeing and Airbus. I'm more of a Boeing guy anyways :)

I agree and fair play on finishing flight school thats where i will be going very soon hopefully and nice on in the flight simulators and i agree boeing is a lot better. Good luck on becoming a ATC.

It also took three or four days to cross the Atlantic between Europe and North America on the fastest ships and many weeks for other routes. Sending a parcel on the slow boat to China might have taken a month.

Aviation is pretty much my life, I have a glider's license and fly cery often, I'm doing my instructor's rating checkride next week. And I am busy with a fixed wing PPL and fly on flightsim a lot! :D

Oh yeah, it's basically what I've grown up loving, always looking at what's over my head, and no doubt something aviation related is going through my head at any given time. I'd love to become a pilot but can't affoard it so my plan is to work towards it, earn the money myself over time, and maybe 10 to 15 years down the line (or a lucky lottery ticket ;) ) I'll be able to do it, that's the plan anyway. Always on flightsim into the bargin and yeah basically its a very large part of my life :D

My dad works for Boeing in Commercial Airplanes so it's always interested me. Way better than Airbus, haha. 777X is going to be nuts, although it seems like the 747 is dead.

My dream job is a helicopter pilot! Of any kind, I just love them so much, I'd enjoy it in any situation. I'll probably join the military to get my license, because the schooling can be very expensive.

My dream is a pilot, but I don't have the money for the training (can't join the RAF because of Asthma :( ) so I plan to get an apprenticeship and essentially work for my money, getting the PPL lesson-by-lesson and going modular for the ATPL - maybe 10 - 15 years from now I'll have achieved it.

What can I say. I love commercial aviation. In 6 years I'll be in New Zealand studying for my ATPL, but meanwhile, I just daydream and fly simulators, get to cockpits, and talk to pilots. If you ever need someone to speak about the airbus A320 Family, I know it's operation inside out.
