So for the past week my hard drive has been throwing an error at me that it's about to fail. so I checked it and for the first check I got this:

Now, today when I went to reboot after windows gave me notification to fix the hard drive I checked it again and this is the result:

Is this good or bad, I'm not sure what to think.

It's neither

Unless the number is changing frequently then your drive is probably failing.

But if its constant it could just be manufacturing defects or a few damaged sectors.

Look for diagnostic/drive check tools from the hard drive's manufacturer. (Make sure NOT to use destructive tools that could damage your data.) Those will generally tell you if the hard drive is OK or failing.

The numbers you're showing are slightly troubling that they changed after boot but again don't on their own prove the drive is failing.

It only has done this when windows said "Reboot Windows to fix any hard drive errors." I've checked other times and it's stayed constant.

and if you look, it already tells me if my hard drive is healthy or not. which it isn't

edit: Hard drive died as of today, could a moderator lock this?
