Hey guys, I'm taking a flight on British Airways on Sunday, and I want to know if Airbus 321 and Boeing 744 have screens and DVD slots. Shall I take some DVDs to watch on my way?
It's the first time I go on British Airways, and the first time a plane actually has a screen for each person!
Does anyone know?
What are other cool thinga I could do on a plane?
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure they will both have a personal TV. They don't play DVD's though. It's a set selection of movies, music, and TV shows. Most are free, but you can purchase others.
It all depends on the Airline. I usually fly with Delta, and they have person TV's for almost all their long distance flights.

Oh, so they play the same thing on every screen, right?

Just bring a iPad or smartphone to watch it on

I know on long distance flights they prob do have a tv for everyone. I have been on British Airways planes for my whole life, and I know that they don't let you play your own DVD's. they have a touchscreen or a remote with which you can control the options on screen. They have a collection of movies, songs, tv shows, and other things. They supply earphones, but I suggest you get your own

This would better fit in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.

Planes don't play personal DVD in them. They do have wide range of channels to choose from but entertainment from outer sources are not allowed. Until now atleast.

The A321 probably won't have personal seat-back TV screens. They have drop-down screens though. They have 5 A321s which do have personal screens, but the chances of getting one of them (Depending where you are flying to/from) aren't great.
The 747s have personal screens, but no DVD slots. They have a selection of TV Shows, Films, etc to watch on-demand though.

Most flights have a personal tv but not DVDs the 2 times I've flown on British they were small planes so they just had the one movie for the whole flight

A321 will NOT have screens. The 747 will have screens, but they are not DVD. They are media on demand, ie newish movies you just click, as well as some good games and music

You mean 747? Well the A321 won't have screens, however the 747 probably will depending on the specific model, your travel class (business, first, coach), and the options the company chose when they ordered the plane.

The 744 will have personal TV, however, the screens tend to be a bit small. Even in Club World class, the screen size is disappointing.

My trip is finished. And you were right! The screen was small in the 744.
There were personal TVs in the 2 planes, btw.
