ive had a lot of gay thoughts lately and i just cant take it anymore they are driving me crazy i kno i like girls trust me but lately ive had a lot of gay thots and honestly i cant stop them and i can only pray this is a phase someone help explain to me if this is a phase is it normal i really need to get thru this

your 13, you have plenty of time before you know if your gay, straight or bi. Right now your just curious, just give it time. Its normal

at the stage you are in,which you are 13 and just probably started with puberty,i would think that it's your hormones.

Nearly most boys at your age go through a stage like the one you are having now,so its completely normal and understandable.

during puberty you can go through phases like this and as glasgow said your 13 theres plenty of time before you know your gay.

Thoughts do not make you gay, they are only in your head! As long as they stay there, they remain just thoughts!

Puberty, hormones, thirteen! I think what's happening is that all these sexual thoughts and feelings are new, so it's hard to know what they mean. But, most guys ahve thoughts about other guys, I think it just means they're becoming sexuallly aware.

okay ... so putting another spin on things
i felt the same way when i was 12/13 years old and i didn't fully grasp what was happening or why i was thinking about guys and it can be scary to realise that, but as you get older if its something you are still thinking about then it might be true you are gay but as you do get older you and your friends mature and become more accepting and other people you know may come out, so you aren't alone.

Kay, this wouldn't help me at all if I were in his situation. I don't know what he means by "Gay thoughts" and I think I really would.
I'm dealing with something similar, basically my hormones are having a mind of their own and I can't take it.
I know what he's going through and telling him that he might be gay doesn't really help.. At all.

maddy, if someone had told me at that age that i was most likely gay i think it would have been hard to hear but grateful that someone had been honest with me and not sugar coat the situation and put it down to puberty and hormones.
the majority of my gay and lesbian friends agree that we all knew or had thoughts or feelings that we are or might be gay at 12/13 or even younger. its just the way it is and i suppose these days kids are getting sexually active younger than before so it is definitely possible to know your orientation at 13.

But he's not most-likely gay. There are plenty of explainations for his "Gay thoughts" as though he says.
Puberty, he's only 13. His sexual conciousness is just developing. To be gay you have to be physically, and emotionally attracted to the same sex.
If you don't know his exact situation, then I don't think you have the power to go off assuming he's gay. It wouldn't help anyone having doubts in who they think they are.

thnk u all for ur advice and i noticed tht after telling someone about this ivee been back to normal, i meen ive been had a lot more normal/straight (idk the word) thoughts i dont kno wat was going on for a couple of weeks i guess it was hormones but im fine now
