i dont see whats wrong with sugar. I know that the refined sugar you get at the store is bad, but natural glucose and fructose? the bodys main soure of energy is sugar. So what are your thoughts?

Refined sugar is just empty carbs and excess consumption has been shown to have a bad effect on our bodies ability to produce insulin effectively.
As for natural sugars - there's nothing bad with them. But remember they contain calories too so munching on fruits with lots of fructose can give you a pretty big boost in calories as well.

but calories are not bad... or good, they are a unit of energy.
And what do you mean by 'empty carbs'

No they aren't bad just excess calories make you gain weight. I just added that bit in because lots of people don't realize fruits and such often contain a lot more calories than they think.
Empty meaning they don't have any nutritional value in terms of vitamins/enzymes/acids etc

It all comes down to processed sugars being bad, in reality, any other sugars are not inherently bad. The thing that sucks though, is that processed sugar is in EVERYTHING (for the most part.)
We have been eating fruits which are high in natural sugars forever, so those are fine and cause little to no harm (might even be good) to the body.
