It shouldnt be a std but the itching is normal during puberty...do you shave/trim your pubic hair because that what might be causing it.

I just tried shaving it and I did get a few red spots, but I kinda expected that for the first time; your skin gets more used to it if you keep doing it anyway. And of course you CANNOT get an STD if you are a virgin. They honestly need to teach more about this kinda stuff in school.

yeh at school they tell ya loads of stuff u can get std's from but they dont teach ya what you dont get std's from...like wanking and tasting your own sperm etc they should explain it a bit more.

Well, you can only get an STD if you're sexual with another person who is infected. If you're a virgin, you can't get an STD.
Unless you've been shaving and the result is this itchy burny thing, hair growth doesn't cause problems or feelings, you can;t feel it growing in (think about your head hair). Typically, itchy, burning is caused by a fungal infection ('jock itch'). Consider some OTC remedies at the drug store and follow directions.
If it's caused by shaving your pubes, try Vaseline jelly for a while.
