This fall there are Kickboxing classes available, and I've never really taken a sport or anything before, so I'm a bit worried about what I've gotten myself into. Has anyone here taken it, and would they be willing to offer some advice?

I also recently deleted my thinspo tumblr because I felt that I was going into a downward spiral, a healthy lifestyle doesn't start with a blog online! Silly me ahaha'. So I'm basically trying to eat healthy and have a healthy mindset. Lots of yoga and meditating. Anyone have a healthy lifestyle routine they've found themselves in? xo

ive been doing martial arts for years and there is nothing to worry about especially in kickboxing where there are strict rules and regs. its a great workout and it just might come in handy.

Kickboxing is a heckuva lot of fun and is an incredible stress buster.
Just stretch, and have fun :)

I can give you all kinds of recommendations if your were to duel someone (within the kickboxing class of course), however since you are starting just have fun and practice a lot if you want to advance.

There's nothing to worry about. Kickboxings a great place to start in contact martial arts. And it is a good workout wether you care about learning martial arts or not.

Just go and try it without any preconceived notions - you might end up liking it a lot.

I've gone through several different types, and degrees of Martial Arts, and it was a lot of work, so for kick boxing, id say you've got nothing to worry about.
