So I think I screwed up big time. There is a girl I met through ffa. We are both on the horse judging and officer teams the big bummer is that we go to rivals high schools that share a chapter. Any way I was text her and told her to ask me any question she wanted and here's the conversation.
Her: why do you always make an effort to be nice to me?
Me: I try to be nice to the people I like
Her: :-) you like?
Me:yeah
It took a while for her to respond
Me: I hope that doesn't make things awkward or anything
Her: :-) it doesn't
So we started talking for a little while more and my brother and friend both agreed that I should talk to her about it so I said
Me: look I got to ask you know I like you do you like me
She didn't answer so I said
Me: I hope I didn't ask too much too fast I'm just curious.
And now I am freaking out. I don't know what to do. I'm worried if she won't talk to me or what but I will have to see her eventually because of Ffa. I just need some more opinions. Please be honest even if it is brutal.

No, not at all. At least not in my opinion, it didn't sound like she was creeped out when you told her you liked her... It's completely acceptable to ask them her if she likes you back. I think you were too shy about it though, confidence says a lot. "I try to be nice to the people I like" was too passive, you need to come out and say it like you mean it, not like some 5th grade bitch (pardon my french) on asking some girl out on the playground... Hope that helps :D

Oh I don't mind I appreciate it. I think I was shy about it. I never really had a girlfriend or got lingo serious so I don't really know what to do except just respect and politeness.

Well the good thing is that you will know now if she likes you or not, the bad thing is if she's not sure or if she doesn't like you yet it will maybe get awkward when you see her again. No matter what don't text her now if she doesn't reply...just see if she'll text you back. If she says she likes you then good for you, if she says not yet or I don't know or I just want to be friends then keep it that way - she'll maybe change her mind after a week or a month. If she doesn't reply then when you see her just act as always. Later you can ask her about the message but don't be pushy.
Anyways you can't really say if you messed up or not....you'll see how it will turn out.
Good luck anyways and let us now if sth happens. :)

She still hasn't answered. I'm thinking about texting her and telling her that. I understand if she doesn't feel the sameway and If she foes not want to talk to me I understand. Should I?
