Have you had the talk from your parents about puberty if so what sort of things did they ask?

I have two brothers, we're 12, 13 & 14. Or dad takes an active role in our lives. He sat us all down discussed puberty with us. It was really cool. It wasn't him lecturing us, but us having a four way discussion. he told us all about his experience with puberty, so it was really easy to open up to him and each other during the talk. We talked about everything It was a fantastic experience.

I haven't actually had the conversation and for that I'm grateful, it hardly seems necessary. Maybe in the past it was important because not everyone had access to the resources to educate themselves about what happens during puberty/sex etc. but access to the internet is so easy now that most people can find this type of information themselves without going through the embarrassment of talking about that sort of thing with parents.

My parents never had the talk with me, much too personal lol. My family doesn't really talk on such a personal level. I just learned everything I need to know from other people, the internet, close friends.

Ive never had the talk, but my family is rather open about this stuff and we joke about it alot (in a good way). So i guess the talk wasnt needed.

I had a short discussion when I was in year five doing sex ed but it wasn't really the talk and every so often my mum tells me that I should always use a condom and not to trust the girl even though she has no idea I'm not a virgin, but that's about it! They said I could always talk to them though

Never got 'The Talk' but whenever my dad (sometimes my mom) felt like discussing or mentioning something in particular the did. A lot of the talk is done during mutual meals in our family.
Not only talking puberty related stuff but also general things you need to know growing up maturely. I am glad our family is pretty open.

From dad the talk was short n simple, it was basically him saying use condoms cos he didn't wanna be a grand dad yet.. lol

Mum's attempt at the puberty talk was so dam awkward cos she decided after walking in on me jacking off it was time to talk about puberty.

Never had the talk, they treat me as if I already know and let me know that the door was open if I wanted to talk.
