Eat healthy, no more processed foods and make sure to have high fat, moderate protein, and low carbohydrates.

Do this and combine it with some moderate quick exercise a few times a week for no more than 30 minutes at a time, and you will lose that weight.

Can you give me examples of these types of food and exercises?
(Thanks for replying :D)

First off, lower your expectations! How about this; It took you a long time to gain the weight it's gonna take some time to take it off. In fact I dare say, don't focus on numbers because they are just numbers. Granted in order to paint a mental picture for us, you kinda needed to give us some, BUT they're just numbers and a number like 15kg isn't going to make you magically confident.

I'd say first get off your butt and walk or jog everyday and keep increasing the distance or time whichever you feel like paying attention to.

While you do that, find something that you actually like to do or would like to do to get fit as in a sport. I strongly suggest this. If there was a more extreme way to express that I would. Maybe think of it as mandatory, because exercise for the sake of exercising is boring. And hey, there's nothing wrong with liking what you like. Maybe you like walking or running and if you do or it turns out you do, then great.

I only kinda like running because I do it to be better at basketball and lacrosse and tennis, so that's my motivation. I kinda like lifting weights, but for the same reason. Those sports are what I like to do and it's kind of cool because instead of being on a treadmill or walking or running, I'm burning a ton of calories and getting fit by something I PLAY and it's fun and not boring at all. So, I'd be fit if i didn't lift weights or run because I'd be running and moving in those sports anyway and that's what I think you should find for yourself, something that you like doing just because you like it; then doing things that people normally do to get fit has a bigger purpose.

So i'll leave the specifics of what you should eat or how to train to someone else or you can google it and find something, but I think you can get fit and have it be fun if mentally you make that the goal.

Also, drink a lot of water, that's a no brainer. haha

His expectations are not high at all. The second you eat right, even without exercise, he will begin to drop weight very fast. Plus, he is a teen, which expedites the process.

I guess I was thinking 15kg in 10 weeks is a lot. I stand corrected.

That is just two pounds a week, not too difficult.

Honestly if you weigh that much, at that height you're probably a little... squishy in some areas. The best workout you can do to drop that weight is running. Running or swimming. If you want to life weights, and put on muscle that can wait.

My advice to you would be to run everyday. Start out small. Don't push yourself too hard because it can be harder than you think. Walk a half-mile, and then run a half-mile. And keep working your way up. Also, don't weigh yourself. Go by how you look and how you feel.

ALSO, if you drink a lot of soda, cut down. That alone will help.

CARDIO!!!
You need to understand that things like lifting weights won't help you loose weight, infact you will gain it. Exercises like running or something that uses 3x Calouries then running is swimming!
Diet!
Well for your diet, don't suddenly stop eating, just change what you are eating, water should be your main/only drink, and you should be drinking alot of water. Grab a bottle and sip on it (:. Processed foods are a no e.g fast foods, sausage, cheese... Anything that isn't the way nature intended. So think whole fruit and vedg. Another big thing is fibre. Fibre is über good for the body!

As someone mentioned earlier, sleep is important, why not go to sleep at 8 and get up in the morn and go for a run or swim? It will leave you awake for the day and will make you feel great.
