yay! i'm getting the galaxy S4! it will be here tuesday. :yeah:

i suggest you get a few apps right away.
Lookout Antivirus, Tapatalk (for vt), google cloud print, This: (the Google Edition Camera App that leaked. I use it and it's wonderful!!! :D link here for download : Camera and Gallery app (https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_fGBfBq-dl2M21QVk5Eb0JDQ0E/edit)), Chrome, GPS Essentials, Loader Droid (it's a download manager it works AMAZINGLY), poweramp, Nova Launcher (if you want to get a really great launcher that's like Vanilla Android), Pocket (for saving web pages for offline viewing), Puffin Browser (has a flash plugin), Screen adjuster, speedtest, and Thumb Keyboard.

These are GREAT apps for any android phone.

Also, if you can, disable some bloatware.

dunno if its a show of thread or not :/

I've never had a phone like this and maybe the OP hasn't either. so some helpful tips or links to apps and stuff would be nice.

yes. my first android phone. so tips and advice and stuff is exactly what i'm hoping for :D

I'm still getting used to it and learning how to use it. one thing that drives me crazy is i want to get the audio notifications for texts and stuff but i don't need to get them every single time someone posts something on facebook. it goes off like every 2 minutes. how do i tell it shut up for facebook but keep notifying me for texts and emails? does anyone know? i also can't get the gesture thing to work. i have to actually touch the screen.
