Hi, i have never tried the window's phone/s, i like the way its set out and everything but for those who have tried it what are the pro's and con's to apple/andriod?
I have had a iphone and htc explorer, i've got a upgrade in a couple of months and was wondering if i should get a andriod/apple or windows phone. What do you think about it?

Windows phones are like apple meaning it's all closed and limited in design and usability, but it's super simplistic.
I think they're good for business because they don't have much else.
IPhones are good if you are an apple person. Androids have developed in the recent years into the most powerful mobile os with the most powerful phones.
I suggest for your next phone to be a Galaxy S4, an HTC One, or a Nexus 4 (or if the next nexus phone comes out soon)

Well, let's say, drop on the pavement casused a slight crack on the screen by the home button (Nothing major). It then got droped again and nothing more happened, then it got knocked out of her hand and smashed on concrete, the phone has now a "pretty" patten of glass and theres cracks all over it, she got a screen protector and things where fine till a week later when the phone slow started to not charge to 100%, it started to only charge to 80%, now it is completely broken, wont turn on, wont power on, wont reset so it had to find its way into a repair shop........
My iphone 3gs has fallen out of my pocket when i've been cycling, screen first on to the road.... I was shocked to see no cracks/scratchs on the screen, the silver bit got a bit of black on it but that's all...
P.s No phone is perfect....

No, NO NO NO. HTC's are the shittiest company to update their great-hardware phones to later versions of Android. Go with Google or Samsung. HTC delayed their 4.2.2 update for the HTC One by 4-5 months and they aren't updating the One S which will be stuck on 4.1 and has the capabilities for 4.2.2 but won't be updated. My next phone will not be a HTC phone. I have a One X+.

I have an s3, and I have a screen protector on it, and an UAG case for it.
I've dropped it on hard concrete many times, a nd it's still as good as new.

Windows phones are stupid...plain and simple.
creds to microsoft for trying but you cant really come into a market that has already taken out one of the originals. Must we forget blackberry....the original smartphone. Blackberry made an attempt to make a comeback by introducing the q10 and all that but it just doesnt have the market that it used too. the only real competition out there is between apple and android. While we can all debate for days on end about which one is better its all a matter of opinion anyways so there wont be a definitive answer about which ones best unless either company adds that one breakthrough innovation.

I myself don't have a Windows phone, but I have a friend that does, and know a friend of a friend does, they both have different opinions. My friend, well she loves it. She's just like the stereotypical teenage girl who's on her phone most of the time either calling, texting, or Facebooking. The friend of a friend, however, is different. He's more of a computer person. He uses it for everything- from texting to emails to blogging etc. He thinks it horrible. In conclusion, I think that for the regular person who uses it to call and text and light app-ing, its fine, but if you're more tech savvy and use it for heaving app-ing, Internet-ing and prolonged, heavy use I'd go for another option.

Window phones look nice and function nicely but that where the features pretty much end. Trust me after a week of owning it you will be bored of it since it's custamability is pretty low. also there are barely any apps . I recommended a blackberry but not a old one .a blackberry ten they have completely remade there os and made it the most powerful os .
