I don't have any knowledge about mushrooms at all. I know people who use them and say that it is not harmful, is that true? Im curious about trying it. I have no way of getting any but im waiting till im older so that i can have the ability to get some. This is a stupid question, but how do you intake mushrooms? Is it literally a mushroom that you eat? What are the effect and how is the high? Is it addictive? Is it dangerous? What were your experiences? Any information will help. Thanks!

Mushrooms have about the same high as lsd. It is just a mushroom that you eat and it is not toxic and has ni physical side effects. It is a hell of a trip and cheap.

Not addictive, and moderately dangerous in that if you have a "bad" trip and are not in a good setting then an external thing could hurt you since you are not able to prevent it (aka walking into a road by accident.)
If you are in a good setting then even a trip which brings up negative things will not have lasting negative effects for the most part. However, you should strive to attain a good understanding of yourself through Yoga or Meditation to level your mind far before attempting psychedelics. Shrooms, LSD, and DMT are all great tools for things if you use them the right way and have a good straight mind going in but it takes many years, even decades, to reach that point for many people.
Shrooms are not something that you jump into for no reason and I feel that anyone using them or DMT especially should have an intention for doing so and not just trying to have a "trip" because that "trip" is a much more important thing that many people think when they are just doing shrooms for pleasure.

Other people have outlined pretty well what happens with mushrooms but just keep some other things in mind. If you are going to try them remember a few things that go with any psychedelic.
Always have someone sober with you.
If you're not feeling it, don't do it. It's far better to postpone than to have a bad trip. A positive state of mind before use will greatly increase the chances of a positive experience. A negative state of mind will increase the risk of a bad trip. This does not go to say bad trips are not possible from a good frame of mind.
Start small. Everyone is different and you may not be ready for the full effect.
Be ready to stay inside for a fair while. I don't know on the time lengths with mushrooms but LSD can take 8-12 hours to wear off.
Do stay inside (at least for your first time). It's safer inside and there are less variables to account for, it's a steady environment.
