What is happiness? How am I supposed to feel it? Does it even exist

I don't know if I have ever really been happy, or if I was too stupid to know the difference.

I have nothing to be happy about. Nothing ever goes right for me. Nothing happens the way I want it to. My life is just a never-ending chain of failures.

Are any of you guys happy with your lives? How do you manage to be happy?

I am somewhat happy with my life, mainly due to accepting that things can't always go my way and I can't change it. If you worry constantly about wanting to be happy, or if you'll ever be happy, trust me you never will be. Sometimes, the power of the mind can influence other actions so if you stop caring and wondering what if, you'll be able to believe it too. Negativity will get you nowhere, I learnt that the hard way. As soon as I realised everything is meant to be like this, regardless of how shitty it may be, it helped me develop as a person and realise that sometimes the little shit doesn't matter and you should focus on other things that do make you happy. Plus, I didn't realise all this until I was at least 16/17, before then I used to blame the world for all my problems when really I was the problem. Inner belief goes a long way, though.

So is there anything specifically that I should do?

Life's Like This

Happiness is having a passion, having a goal in life, and it should not depend on an object or on another person. Happiness should only depend on oneself.
When you watch a movie, you kinda want your life to be just like this movie. We crave for the events to happen just like they do behind the screens, but they never do. We only create illusions of these movies in our lives.

Now you ask: What does happiness have to do with TV?

Answer: Why can we create TV illusions when we can't create happiness illusions? It's because we are constantly subject it to happiness. So, the merely obvious solution is subject your life to happiness and to the positive aspects of living. Then your illusions will come true.

I don't have a passion or a goal. I'm not good at much, and I'm not good enough at anything to where it would be a passion. I'm basically a waste of space.
