me and my friends have been changing clothes and showering after the beach for a long time but now i'm getting hard when we do it and i never used to. is it because of puberty?

Most likely. But I think you'll always get boners no matter at what age, I get them when I'm not even horny or thinking about anything sexual. It comes at random times.

That is just natural going through puberty, I will get them like when I am drving my car, never can predict when you will. Seeing you friends all nude will bring on an erection..Now going through puberty you will need sometime to seeing your friends nude and after time you will be less likely to get a erection

Well I see you are 13, so you are basically starting up puberty and experiencing boners and can be "curious" about guys sometimes. It's all normal and natural. But that's puberty for you.

Like everyone else has said, its a puberty thing, you are going through hormonal changes and you body is adjusting to it, the boners come and go, at the randomest of times, even when you aren't thinking about anything sexual. Its just part of puberty, and i guarantee, your friends will go through the same problem soon enough.
