Your legs probably get wobbly from the warm water. It may relax the muscles. If this happens when you try to jack off in the shower, it's probably because you're using your legs to stabalize your body, but the warm water is trying to make them relax, so your muscles are fighting that.
In fact, that can happen with a lot of muscles if they're tense, and then you take a warm/hot shower. That happens to me when I'm tense.

I think there's a biological reason for this, something having to do with gravity. But evolutionary, the reason for ejaculation is for reproduction, right? The sperm leaves your body and (hopefully) enters a fertile woman, thereby creating another human being. Now, if ejaculation could happen easily when you're both standing, then the resulting sperm would leak out more, right? Gravity and all. Lessening the chances for fertilization and successful pregnancy.

So, natural selection has favored those who can ejaculate in positions that work with gravity, rather than against it. Thereby increasing the chances for reproduction.

Its all to do with the way you've got used to doing it. If you masturbate standing up then eventually, it will get easier and easier. Its the same with masturbating with the opposite hand: you can train yourself to do it.
