Crushes

So I recently took that crush survey on this board and that got me thinking. I've had like a lot of crushes, by a lot I probably mean a reasonable amount but it seems like a lot to me. But I really do think that I get too attached too quickly. Case in point I just met this girl a week ago, and now I already am sure I have pretty serious crush on her. Another example, so there was this friend I had a crush on for like year. And of course I hadn't told her or even hinted anything. So by some means she adds me on facebook. Not even a week after this I start subtly hitting on her on fb, and not really saying anything when I saw her in school. Finally, with persuasion from my friend I just asked her out on fb, not too well of course. I feel that I am just kind of not thinking about this the right way. Just wanted some fresh opinions or observations. Thanks.

Yeah, I'm the same way. I get attached too easy and too quickly. I have lately actually gotten better about it because of some past crushes that didn't end well. I usually now try to get to know people before I think about feelings. So my advice is get to know them first before you're sure you have feelings for them. Because they could end up to be not the right person.
