Hey:
I know it's a stupid move but I'am curious and would like to try smoking weed maybe once, I can get it no problem it's just the "getting caught" part that I stress. I'am worried that i'll get caught by my parents, they would be so dissapointed in me. I just want to ask a few questions, maybe plan out a day I could smoke.
How long does the "high" affect last?
Is it very addictive?
Is it worth it?
Can you control yourself? (Perhaps if my mom was to give me a ring, could she tell?)
Thanks a million!

There's nothing stupid about wanting to try weed, as a matter of fact, its slowly starting to become legal because people are realizing its not bad. If you're paranoid about getting caught, don't be lol, you'll be paranoid the whole time and most people find that a buzz killer, just relax and enjoy it!
How long does the "high" affect last?
Depends on the weed and on your tolerance... since you've never tried it, it might last from 2 to 4 hours if its high quality ("dank"), if its low quality (schwag) it might last less and even be less enjoyable. As you smoke more and more your tolerance goes up and highs last less, like for me, usually a good high will last me 30 to 45 mins.
Is it very addictive?
Common misconception. No, weed is not physically addictive. What does this means? Its not like cigarettes with which if you don't have one, you crave one and start having withdrawal symptoms. It can most certainly be psychologically addictive but that's if you smoke every day several times and even so its not that bad. I've seen friends of mine going from smoking 2-3 grams a day to stopping cold turkey because they had a job that drug tested or stuff like that.
Is it worth it?
That's something you'll have to answer yourself once you smoke.
Can you control yourself?
You can be as lucid as any other person, just bring eye drops if you don't wanna get caught because your eyes will become nice and red... unless I've smoked a retarded amount through a bong or something, I can usually control myself around people that shouldn't know I'm high.

How long does the "high" affect last? Depends on the pot you smoke
Is it very addictive? It can be, ONLY if you smoke it LOADS, it's mentally not physically addictive.
Is it worth it? I think so, it's fun and gives you a very interesting experience. For example, i made up a concept of an infinite tree that could make the universe breathe, yep...
Can you control yourself? Yeah, but if your high as fuck then no.
I hope you enjoy it and have fun dude! :yeah:

Give yourself half a day or so for the high, it will vary and tapper off after around six hours normally but everyone is different, and all strains are different.
Not addictive at all.
It is worth it, in my opinion.
During your first few times, it will be hard to control yourself with a high
THC strain but if you have a chilled out strain higher in CBD, you can control it.

I remember my first time getting high. It was amazing, however, make sure youre somewhere comfortable and youre with people you trust. make sure you have food because youll get hungry. and if you start not feeling well (having a bad trip) lay down. when you're high, you can easily fake being normal. eyedrops are nice to have, same with mints or gum to get rid of the breath scent. if you are that paranoid about getting caught, i wouldnt do it. the more paranoid you are, the more likely you are to have a bad trip. OH, AND MAKE SURE YOU DONT GET RIPPED OFF.

How long does the "high" affect last? Depends on tolerance level and ultimately how much uou smoke
Is it very addictive? That's a very controversal question, I would say with drugs it depends on the person, one persons addiction is another persons past time.
Is it worth it? Yes
Can you control yourself? (Perhaps if my mom was to give me a ring, could she tell?) Well depending on the things I've said before... The higher u are the more apparent especially when it comes to speech it will become.

Mate its fine.
-Its not addictive at all.
-If your mom phones, you'll do your "not-stoned-voice". These are always legendary :p
-I think its worth it, but its about deciding for yourself
-the high depends on the weed. Your tolerance will be quite low, so don't smoke too much. Grab a mate, and a 10 bag and you should be good :)
-TAKE DEODERANT AND CHEWING GUM. If you think you're going to get caught this will help, it probably won't make too much of a difference if your parents are actively looking to see if your stoned, but its a good placebo as much as anything.
Hope it helped dude :)

Mine use to last 3/4 hours, depending on how much I smoked.
Not at the beginning but once it becomes regular then yes.
I think so but others may think different.
The more you do the more obvious it will be, so maybe?

I love smoking weed. I do it to relax
Depending on how big a toke you take depends on how high you get
Also the THC content. Just be careful because you can experience mild to severe side effects like passing out or heart palpitations
Just be careful :)

Your first few times you might not feel high. I'm not sure why that happens but it happens to a lot of people.... but here's a big tip: don't get too aggressive and smoke too much with a low tolerance. My 7-8th time smoking I smoked a bit too much (8 large hits) and I ended up getting way too high and started getting a bad trip. The worst started spinning and it felt like everything was tilting to the left. I seriously thought I was going to die... Luckily I was with some chill people who made it better. Just don't overdo it..

Pot is the only drug I'm okay with not quitting at some point in the future. xD I smoke so much, and it's far different than the drug D.A.R.E. describes to elementary school children. I used to be afraid just like any newb usually is, but marijuana highs are usually pretty chill. Just make sure you have gum, eye drops, and maybe body spray if you're smoking dank so that you can hide that you're high. You should be able to talk and walk just fine, unless you're twitchy, which is what happened to me the first few times I smoked, but I don't think the twitching is really noticeable at all. Lmao.
Honestly, you may not even feel it the first time you smoke, so I'd say light it up at least twice so that you know what being high really feels like because the first time you smoke, it's likely that your body won't even register the THC in your system.

Dude i'll just say it's the safest least harmful drug, more people die from caffeine than marijuana because it kills 0 people
How long does the "high" affect last? depends can go for a couple hours or an hour
Is it very addictive? not at all, the only problem is that you like it so you just want to do it again, it's like going to the movies you enjoy to partake in certain things, so if you don't like it you wont, if you do you'll want to do it. it's not addictive, think of things you're currently addicted to. ( sugar ) you will literally have withdrawals with out it. marijuana in %100 safe
Is it worth it? basically cheapest drug, i usually just get a stick, $20 worth and it last just about all week
Can you control yourself? it's not like off movies man, you just become more alert and everything feels better, you don't see anything hear anything it's fine you just feel different. amazing feeling
Hope that helped :) message me if you got any questions :)

30 mins to an hour for some strains.
Not really, there is an emotional or mental addiction (like you'd crave it like your favorite food, but there's no physical addiction what so ever)
Yeah why not
Sometimes, other times you may just laugh a whole bunch uncontrollably

Do it with good friends you trust the first time, and be sure one you smoke with know what hes doing, so he can tell you what to expect, how good the weed is, how much you should smoke and so..
The lenght of the high can really be different, but if you just take some tokes on a joint you will probably be able to control yourself completely after 2-3 hours, but still be dizzy tho..
Smoking weed can be addictive, if you can smoke at your home, if you have the money for it, and have some serious problems i would say. I believe you couldnt say yes to either, so you dont risk anything by trying the green, if you dont have mental problems.
But you should do it weekends only, as i can imagine your still in school.

The high effect will usually last a few hours, but it depends on the strength of the weed and how much you smoke. For a first timer, 1-2 hits of mid-grade should do you well, if its dank (really good), then you might be reasonably baked. 3-4 hits of really good weed (and probably mid-grade) could likely make you "gone". By this I mean vision may be slightly impaired due to time distortion, you'll be relaxed and laughing like crazy and very likely become hungry. If you get really high, you'll likely wake up the next morning with some residual effects (relaxed feeling, possibly slight time distortion).
Is it addictive? Weed is not physically addictive, meaning you will never need it to feel good, or right. It can be mentally addictive, in the sense that you crave it. However, addiction rates for weed are low, and if you did build an addiction, there are little to no withdraw symptoms. I personally "crave" smoking from time to time, but its typically from bordem, not a need.
Is it worth it? If you can minimize the risks involved (getting caught, not having to drive, etc), then it can be. This question is variable on the person, but I PERSONALLY think smoking is a great experience. With all drugs, you need to moderate your usage, and don't let it creep too far into your life.
New comers may have some issues with hiding it, especially if they're really high, but its possible. Spray some cologne (not too much) to reduce the odor, and use eyedrops if present, to remove the redness in your eyes. In my experience, whenever I got into a serious situation, I was able to control myself.
I recommend you do some research on your own about weed, but here's a few quick facts:
-Its nearly impossible to overdose on THC (tetra-hydro-cannabinol), the "ingredient" in weed that makes you high. You would need to smoke pounds in one sitting in order to do any arm to yourself.
-Laced weed is rare. Dealers typically won't waste time and money lacing weed with a more expensive drug.
-Weed doesn't make you stupid. Studies have shown impacts on memory while intoxicated, but this only lasts during the time you're high.
-Weed does give off carcinogens (cancer agents) when combusted (as with any plant material), but there is minimal risk of lung cancer. Infact, some studies have shown that weed can help fight off cancerous cells
-THC can stay in your system for up to a month after smoking, this doesn't mean you'll get high without smoking, or that you'll stay high. It just means some of the compounds are present in your system. Drug tests will pick these compounds up within that period of time.
-Smoking large amounts may cause you to be absolutely gone, or green out. If you green out, symptoms such as nausea and vomitting can occur. Greening out will not harm you, its just your body reacting to massive amounts of THC. This can be prevented by learning your limits. First time smokers shouldn't be taking 5+ hits of dank.
If you decide to go through with it, just pace yourself, kick back and enjoy it.
PM me if you have any questions about marijuana, or anything else, I'm down for a chat.
