Random and form mail script

I need a good random content script and a form mail script. Matt's Script Archive says I need a sendmail program, so if that and form mail are interchangable. I've found a Javascript random content script but that's stupid because everything has to be on one line and you can see all of the content by looking at the source. THE CONTENT HAS TO NOT HAVE TO BE WRITTEN ONE ONE LINE! All of the jokes/riddles would take up more than one line, which would REALLY be a pain in the butt. I could use Matt's random link though... oh NEVER MIND! Just help! Perl please! Oh, and if you could tell me how to set up the scripts and call on the scripts that would help. I was using Tripod's but now since I'm not a member of Tripod anymore, well, yeah.
