As for what's everyone's arguing about, it all depends on how strong your erection is. Obviously the younger and older (60+) you are it will stick out more cause your blood flow won't be as strong as those younger or older, like teenagers or adults. Because of this, the larger your penis the less likely it is to stick straight upwards, as the flow of blood wouldn't be strong enough. Additionally, people with heart problems won't be able to push the blood round at a high enough rate to cause a strong enough erection to point it straight upwards. It basically depends on age, health and sometimes penis size. For example, two men of the same age and health the one with the larger penis would be more likely to stick straight out, compared to upwards. Likewise, a 60 year olds penis is less likely to stick straight up due the flow of blood that a 15 year olds is.

I have mostly recovered, yes, although this isn't the thread for it, I'd be perfectly happy to discuss more about it over PM. However my heart has now done more work than most people's my age (I'm 16, my hearts effectively 28) and the stress on it has caused my blood flow to be subsequently my erections wouldn't point as high up as the pressure from the blood isn't high enough. It's firm, just not at a high large angle.
