His love was a beautiful poison that flowed through his veins,
and seized the beating hearts of the shadows of bodies that were diseased with pain.
There was an illuminating gift in his chilled, blue eyes,
that resuscitated those with stone hearts, till they shed the darkness inside.
Mind became fatigued with the gift he beared,
and found himself without the love of another to wear.
Contemplating
that which the most brave and distraught dared.
That his gift wasn't to be reciprocated for nobody shared
the burden in his eyes that tortured him to care,
for the damaged and empty.
Yet without him,
there would be
nothing.
