When did you start to grow pubic hair?

The first time i saw I had pubes was 2 months after my 12th birthday I saw 2 but not many more grew until I was 12 and 8 months. by then there were about 8 hairs then in the next 6 weeks lots more grew thicker and further up. After about a week I told my best friend (who is a boy) but I didnt show him. About 6 weeks later I shaved it off cos I didnt like it made me feel embarrased but thats the only time i shaved it. now I just let it grow also i dont shave my legs or under my armpits I've never shaved there, theres a little bit of hair but not loads.
