Difference between crush and love?

Hey! Id like to start saying that i accepted my sexuality after a year of confussion: im Bi untill i get a relationship with a girl. If i dont like it, im Gay. I have no problem with being gay and my 2 cousins and my brother are gay too (i think i have the gayest family in the world XD).

Well, my problem is that i think im in love with my bestfriend. Everytime i see him i have like a battle of feelings inside me. When i J/O i think on him, even when im doing anything else i think on him and i just cant get him out of my head. I dont know if i love him or its just a crush. Some months ago i was so sad because we stopped talking and hanging out that i litterally cryed every night for him. I still get sad when i think that we talked like 5 times since school started, taking appart the hey/hi/how you doing? I really miss him, and i just want to be with him, hang out with him, hug him, watch tv, play videogames, fight, kiss him :B...i need him so bad

So, whats the difference between love and a crush?

A crush lasts a short while, and more often than not your feelings are not returned

Well, i love my mom and dad but i dont wanna die for em. I like to be alive. I would try to save em and do everything i can for them but i wouldnt die. Same with my friend

From what I've experienced, When it's a crush, you are attracted to them in more of a physical way than an emotional way. When it's love it's a bunch of different great feelings put together that you feel for the person. It's un describable...

They say crushes last around 6 months at the most, while love is eternal. Love also goes both ways, crushes don't. I also remember some quote about how love is choosing to stay with each other, even if you go through times where you don't feel "in love" anymore, because you love each other that much.
