I'm 16 and never masturbated... Is this weird?

I keep feeling the need to but it never feels right as there's always others in the house. I'm going on a school trip and have a chance to... But is it okay?

I'd be more freaked out masturbating on a school trip than in my own room. If you feel okay with it -- try it but if you have a fear that it's wrong or you'll get caught then maybe you need to wait until you feel more comfortable doing it.

its perfectly ok to not masturbate and more common than youd think.

It's just that I am never alone in the house ( my mum works from home) and it doesn't feel right when someone is there. Also I want to try but I don't want to get caught...

Each person learns and trys things at there own speed, so your normal. Only advice i'd give you is practice/experiment masturbating in the shower before your school trip. School trips and masturbating can be risky, and depending on the sleeping setup it can lead to a whole lot more.... Trust me about that one....
