I started for the fun of it, now I'm doing it because I'm always getting upset..... Of you ever feel like $hit and wanna cut, remember there's people that can help you and there's people that care!

I don't know if I'm being overly dramatic, but it's kinda offensive saying you started cutting for the fun of it. Because many cutters didn't start because they thought it was fun. They began because it provided relief from life and its many stresses.

On one hand, it can be taken as offensive, and on the other, it's still a serious problem. Anyone causing deliberate harm to themselves for fun needs some kind of help. Cutting is not safe by any means -- you can cut too deep, get an infection, etc. That's not fun, nor should it be. So rather than everyone getting all uptight and offended, just think that for a moment this person is doing something potentially dangerous and no matter what the reasons, everyone deserves help even if we may not agree with why she started.

I wasn't offended I just wondered WTF you'd do it for fun?
I'm having a little bit of an emotional meltdown at the moment and I can't cut and it's making me crazy. I'm doing other stuff that hurts but it's not the same, I'm so addicted to cutting that nothing else is even coming close to working. I'm ready to break a window to get a piece of glass but I know that would be discovered. This isn't any path to fun that I know of.
