Im brand new to this site!! Im 16 and a pretty averadge singer ( im a dude) but i know i can get better! But i seriously wanna persue a music career! I know it souds stupid but I really want it, i have a music and singin teacher but she can only teach me how to improve singing, what i wanna do is try and get something like a record deal, my songs are really unique and everyone says their gr8! And no not weird unique, but somewhat good! The problem is i live in South-Africa...is there anybody out there who can give me advice????:yeah:

Well, just keep practicing, and gettting better. I'm not sure of your whereabouts, but usually there are talent agencies in major cities. Try singing at coffee houses and talent shows. Those are the places where people can get discovererd.

There are millions of people just like you. If you want to get noticed, you have to be unique and stand out.

Hehe thanx, ive been winning loads of talent shows, but that doesnt really do anything, but i'll try the coffee house idea, owe ya one!

No, I don't think it's late. But it's very hard to break into the music business, and very few people make it.

Phew, but where do u think is a great place to start? U.S.A. , U.K. ? Or in my own country, but note, the best selling album in my country is 96 000...hahaha

Well the USA has a good music industry. But maybe you can get a start there, then make it over here. I'm not really an expert on the music industry, so I don't know.

usa!.......hey maybe how bout posting your songs on the internet! i`m sure that will have more attention!you can try myspace,youtube.... well.......you must be brave to face the concequences of popularity! but you must try and keep trying...if you are really that great,you willl nailed it!wish you good luck....:)
