Whenever I use my EarPods with my PC, the balance is really weird. When I use them with my iPod, the balance is fine. But when I use them with the PC, the bass is the only range that I can hear clearly. I can't really hear the mid nor the treble that well. So, the vocals and guitars are muffled. Why is this? And I don't listen to rap so beats aren't as important. I listen to rock and metal which need mids and trebles just as much as bass.

I only use the Apple Earbuds for my smaller electronic devices such as PSP, DS, Phones, MP3 Player.

I don't really care about the quality of the music as long as it plays, so I just use whatever earbuds I can get.

Try messing with the 'equalizer.'

I did try messing with the EQ, but it didn't help.

I'm sure it's made specific for Apple.

Oh, so are you saying that they just aren't really meant to work with PC's?

The E.Q in your normal applications won't fix anything.

As far as I know it's impossible to make earbuds work with specific products. it's probably, just your sound balance settings in windows.
You can change your balance in your sound settings on windows. google "How to change sound equalization on windows" you should find what you need there. (If you don't run windows, subsitute Windows with whatever operating system you run.
