so a while ago my windows would not start up anymore it always stopped doing anything at the boot logo. When i tried to reinstall my windows from a partition on my hdd it said that there was not a hdd installed in my computer. with a repair disk or another windows install disk nothing happened. So is there a way to solve this problem?

You've probably busted your HDD by mistake. I've done it once too. Your best bet is to check with your manufacturer if it is covered by a warranty and get a replacement.

Thats not the problem because if i bootup with Linux (live dvd) i can drag and drop files on to it and vice versa
Also if i check my hdd with diagnostic software it says that there aren't any problems :s
But thanks for your answer

Actually it could be. When I ran Ubuntu I could still do certain file operations even though I got the same error messages as you. If that's the case then get it checked professionally, could be some dodgy wiring or something on the inside, and not a software issue.

I would take it to a computer shop or something...
My Windows 8 never stopped with Kernel errors, so everything had to be erased...
