Nanny Cam found

I just got mad at a situation and threw a flip flop to my bear collection in the corner. Went to pick them up and found one of my teddy bears was switch for a similar one with a nanny cam.:eek:

I'm thinking it was my brother who did this, as my mom has a hard time distinguishing between a Memory Stick and SD port on her computer, but has no proof. Well, other than the freaking cam.

There is last night after shower moisturizing, then my chatting last night with the action, then me going to bed and everything i did this morning, so it was activated while i was showering last night.

What should i do, confront him? tell mom? :confused:

I will hate to think it was mom, I gave her no reason to spy on me. I'm starting to freak out, what should I do?

Waiting on mom to get back from work and will talk to her. As you wrote that, I was trying to access his notebook and realize I was on the way to do as I was done privacy-wise. Have stopped until I talk to mom.

The recording is erased. The cam is expensive, not sure is a good idea to destroy it.

Ok, it has to be my brother after all. Mom denied knowing about the teddy cam.

Mom got really upset, he's lucky he's at a friend's house today. Right now she has calm down and started blaming me a little for rushing naked from the bathroom to my room, and told me to stop doing that as we now know he has fully hit puberty and he's getting bad ideas due to thinking with the little one.

He's gonna get it from both of us and she will make him unlock his notebook and let us browse to find videos if there are any already.

I would call the police. Any recordings made of you and stored on his computer or even shared online or in a shared folder is considered Child Pornography. The police would probably be able to trace who bought the cam.

Not to sound like an ass, but we aren't exactly aware of her family's monetary situation. He could have an allowance and save up, or he could have his own job, like I did. Mowing lawns and stuff. And as to 'it sounds fishy, and a bit unbelieveable' that almost sounds like your assuming this is all made up, or she's lying, and that's not cool.

She said that they've just discovered that he's "entering puberty," meaning he's probably around 13 years old. That's awful young to get your hands on an expensive camera, especially since he probably doesn't have a credit card (online) or a means of transportation to go to a store.

Excuse me for being skeptical on the Internet. Besides, I'm not saying that "this is all made up." I said the story was "a bit unbelievable", meaning there are elements to her story that make me question its authenticity. Sorry that I don't believe everything I read on the Internet or believe every story that someone tells me.

It's possible. I think that this would be the more likely possibility; it could've been his friend that placed the camera. I agree that everything is up to speculation at this point.

Yep Sharona, you nailed it. It is actually from one of our neighbor's. They did the switch to record me and then watch it together, they are both 13. Long story short, his friends mom was suspicious of how the babysitter was treating his toddler daughter so she bought it an put it on her room, these two devils switch it for mine and put the cam in its place.

Good news is, as far as we can prove, and he swears is true, he did the swap that night while i was on the shower, so no recording was taken from the cam. :)

Nevertheless, he's freaking grounded for the whole summer, I have not even talk to him since this happened. He's really apologetic, yet I'm still mad. His friend also got in trouble, though no idea yet of what happened. Mom gave her back the cam and i got my teddy back as well.

All's well thank god, but he will have to make it up to me big time.
