Okay first of all im not sure where i should post this, but because its something to think about i just posted it here, sorry if its moved :)

Anyway, i recently read something about how love works
and I though it was quite interesting:

When you are interrested in someone (and this is by a bunch of other stuff lke symmetry in their faces, and the health of their body and other factors)
your brain releases addictive and happy-making chemicals called
dopamine and norepinephrine, which also cause you to get nervous and a fast beating heart.

Kissing increases dopamine, which makes you happy,
and being with your partner decreases cortisol, which causes less stres..

Being around them or touching them increases oxytocin, which makes you feel in love.

It also decreases serotonin, which causes obsession with your partner.

Anyway I though that was pretty interresting, hope you did too :)

I knew about the dopamine and oxytocin stuff, but the cortisol and serotonin stuff was new. Pretty cool imo.

I knew about most of that, just didn't know the specific chemicals.

Hugging someone for more than 20seconds also helps decrease stress.

When it comes to attraction, humans find symmetry attractive, as well as feminine looking guys. Not full on feminine, but many models have a feminine touch to them. Guys are also more attracted to women when they wear red (like dresses and stuff) and they're also more prone to noticing them (especially a lot more sexually). Other things with the face include a prominent cheek bone and facial structure.

We also rely on our natural instincts that we have accumulated over thousands of years. Like when were finding our future mate, we associate beauty with good health, so were more prone to wanting to make kids with that person.

Girls are also greatly attracted to wealth, naturally (even if they're not gold diggers), if they see a guy, who would normally be a 4-5, but see he's rich, he'll become more of a 6-7.

Our brains are so smart, that we can judge a person within a few seconds of looking at them, we can judge how sexually open or promiscuous they are, if they're likely to be cheaters, and more.

(All the above was from memory)

Here's a few fun facts I just found:
Here's a list of turn ons:
Long arms
Full lips
Wearing red
Scars
Deep voice

Turn offs:
Manliness
Being happy
Being funny
Being blonde

All that is SO true! And the worst feeling in the world is somebody not liking you back.
