I know it sounds stupid, especially cause I'm 18. But I've always been shy when it comes to body hair. Especially around parents, I never wear shorts around them just because I am shy about my leg hair. So you can imagine how I would be about wearing a tank top for the first time.

I have a few questions about this:

One should I do about my armpit hair? I don't have a ton of it, but it's visible.

Should I get my upper arms tanned or is it ok having them no so tan?

Do you have to have big arms to look good wearing one? I don't have big arms at all.

Will having armpit hair gross girls out?

Wow man I've never heard of someone being so conscious like this! Okay well for starters I think you should be ok wearing shorts in front of your mum... Everything is natural anyway. You don't need to get tabbed or waxed or anything just be happy :) chicks don't care, it's how guys are! Trust me ;) I'm a swimmer and all my mates are swimmers, we wear the smallest amount of clothing socially acceptable and pick up chicks ;p

I'm not very muscular, don't have a great tan, and have quite a bit of hair on my chest, armpits, etc. It's just a fact of life -- men will have body hair. I don't really get embarrassed about it anymore, at first I did, but then I got over it and people actually compliment it now. It's manly :P

I have blondish here so its less visable with me.
I did know a guy that had lots of visable leg hair when he was just 7, so i guess its different for everyone

Don't worry about what other people think, if other people comment on it, it's just because they are surprised/jealous/awkward about finding out about how mature you are but don't alter it for other people because its your body not there's and it may cause teasing that may not have happened if you shaved. its just a sign that you're not a child.
