I've always been curios about these, I've read articles but I've never even got close to answering my own question "How do you make them?". It was an option on my old operating system (win server 2000) but I didn't know how to configure it or use it. I didn't know what a domain tree or a domain forest was :? There's too many things to learn about it. Anyways I have a third party server now (http://69.204.177.195) with nothing on it yet, But i reallly want to figure out how to make a domain name server :-/

all a dns does is map your ip to a domain, like teenstoteens.com

u set this up with your domain provider, cuz they have them there. no need to have one for urself

You have to pay for it. All domain names serve is just easier for us to get somewhere.

yes I know, domain name servers just contact one another that hold the certain domain and convert it to an IP
