Girls, if you like a guy, but the guy does not go out with you or sends you any signals, do you continue to like him,
or do you "give up" at some point?

If it's just some guy I've never really been friends with that long or it's just a little thing, I can usually just move on and give up.

I do have one friend though that I'm really close with and he knows I liked him. He didn't feel the same and I haven't really moved on yet but the thing is, even though I haven't stopped liking him, I value him so much as a friend that whether or not we date isn't important as long as he's in my life.

So in some cases? Yes, I give up and don't like the person anymore. But in cases where that person is a constant part of my life, it's hard to stop liking them but I respect him too much to push him at all. It's not so much giving up as much as establishing and respecting boundaries in spite of my feelings.

If we can talk and if we hang out as friends I wouldn't stop doing it just because he wouldn't like me to be his gf. I would probalby still like him and continue to hang out with him so maybe after some time he'll change his mind....
The point is, if we go along with each other I wouldn't just give up. If he's just a crush, and he really doesn't show interest in being friends at least I would give up.

I'll inch towards a conversation about what he thinks of me and I go from there. Normally I'm the one to make the first move... Idk if that's bad or not lol.

I usually keep liking him. I feel like moving on and keep saying so but in the end he's still on my mind and thoughts.
