What game endings got you emotional.

As cliche as this sounds the end of MW3 when soap dies got me all sad and the end of Medal Of Honor Warfighter got me sad too.

this ending of BGAE is really emotional, especialy if you know the story. (and with the ending I mean the secondhalf of this video!)
starting at 18:32.
Its really touching

Mass Effect 3, and yes I understand it was kind of crappy but it meant the end of an absolutely epic trilogy which got me emotional, plus the song that played at the ending... that got a little tear out of me.

MW3 when it all slotted together including cod 4 and when soap was on the table. I don't care that was so emotional. Red dead also had an amazing ending, it was so well done

MW3's only good part... was the ending. It ended like the beginning: with Price smoking a cigar.

Halo 3. I was emotional when I completed it on normal. I was sad, one of my favorite video game heroes "died". And then I heard about the legendary ending. I was like, "Oh! that's just the Arbiter's POV!"

It saddens me that most of the games mentioned are post-2008ish.

Come on guys, let's go back further.

Legend of Dragoon for the Playstation 1 didn't have the most emotional ending, but watching Dart's father and Rose die kind of hit a soft spot for me.

Ooh, yeah, I forgot about Red Dead Redemption. I loved that game. I wish I knew when the ending was coming, so I didn't have to do the last mission :(

I know right, I reloaded it when John Marston gets shot through the barn doors because I thought there would have to be a way to survive, but no he got lead pumped into him

It's more annoying because it doesn't seem hard to kill them all. I had leftover molotovs, would've killed half the police right then and there, and I had enough ammo to pick them off. Alas, we're stuck with the whiny, talkative Jack Marston :(

He's no Luke Skywalker, I don't understand how you family can escape out the back dear without getting shot.

The only bonus of Jack Marston was the mission where you get to Kill Edgar Ross, the FBI guy. I also shot his wife in the head with the double barrel shotgun. Ah I love red dead

Anyone remember Dragon Age: Origins? The ending of that game was really emotional, especially if you sacrificed the character you spent hours playing with.

I'm going to have to say The Walking Dead indie game. I'm not the type to cry or tear up during anything, because I usually keep that gooey stuff to myself. But watching the ending, for the first time I really had to hold it back. If only more games could implement character bonds and open doors to connections through empathy like that. There would be so many more games with awesome stories.

Not a lot of games do this for me, probably because of the genre I play, but Fallout 3 made me really happy when the narrator is talking and the water is purified

I went with the Dark Ritual option but yeah wow it took me awhile to move after finishing Origins.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team was the first game which ending made me emotional. It's weird, yes. But having to leave your partner after all of that shit, was just heavy.

Also, TLoZ: Skyward Sword ending, with Zelda and Impa got me too. In fact there was a lot of shit from that game that tried to bring me to tears. (Which happened at one point.)

I just got into pc gaming recently, so I haven't seen any of the truly devastating endings like everyone else.

Not emotional in a sad way, but in a "yes I finally beat this fucker" kind of way:

Zelda, Mario & Luigi(can't wait for Dream Team!), Pokemon

In a sad way, probably the pokemon mystery dungeon series and Bastion.

I usually play MMO's now so I haven't played and finished a good singleplayer game in a long time.

Red Dead Redemption. Hah I couldn't even play the game for a few weeks without getting saddened by the ending.

Most people would STRONGLY disagree with me, but Halo 4 had a sad ending. When Cortana passed, it was like one of those "look up into the rainy skies, and scream NOOOOOOOOOO!!!".

I also just watched an entire playthrough of The Last of Us, and holy fuck was that emotional.
