I believe that there are many, many things we have yet to explain.. But I'm not quite sure I believe in the paranormal... I don't think that believe is the correct word. I acknowledge the possibility of the existence of the paranormal, but I don't necessarily "believe" in the paranormal.

^^ Technically there are "vampires", as there are people who drink the blood of humans/animals. But they don't usually bite people's necks (though there was a famous murderer who did that [I forgot his name]). And I don't believe any of them can turn into bats.

But what proof is there that ghosts are real? The flashed of light could be just that, and the movements could just be influxes in gravity. But we will probably never know, because once we're dead we are dead.

My dad claimed he used to his dead father.. but I don't know if I believe him... As I said, there are a lot of unexplained phenomena, and whatever causes it is still unknown. There is the possibility that what you just saw before you're eyes was a ghost, but it is also true that the human mind is capable of extraordinary things. If you're in a haunted house and you expect to see/hear ghosts, you might just see or hear what you expect, even if it isn't really there. The human mind is extremely complex, as is the human imagination. There are a lot of things that we have yet to explain, and once we have explanations for them (that are scientifically proven or sound rational/make a decent amount of sense), we will see them (these things) for what they really are. That noise you heard could be a ghost, could be your cat knocking something over, could be the invisible man wondering around your house, could be your mailman breaking into your house in the nude... it could be anything.. I don't care what "ghost hunters" catch on video or audio tape. I don't care. You have to prove it to me. Prove to me beyond a reasonable doubt that whatever caused that sound, or the image I just saw, was actually a ghost, not some phenomenon, or just my imagination. Prove it to me; and I will believe.
