Sorry guys, I haven't posted in a while. I've been really busy, but I'm baack.
I have a question about a small lump/bump a bit higher than the lower shaft, but NOT on the head of my penis. It's pretty small, and it's pink. I don't think it's a hair follicle. I'm kind of worried, but does anyone have an idea of what it is? =\

Nope - the only sexual activity I've had is making out, but if you consider masturbating sexually active, then I'm not sure, because I do masturbate frequently.

How long has it been there? Always a good chance that it's just a pimple.

I noticed it..about three days ago. I think it is a pimple..but I'm not so sure. If it is, what should I do?

Let it go...it'll probably be gone soonish. If it's as you describe and only a few days old, yeah, it's probably a pimple.

You should pop it. It sounds very much like an ingrown hair or a pimple. I had one of those where my pubic hair is and all I did was pop it. It was gone the next day.

just sounds like a spot might go away but if it is really bothering you and its annoying or painful I'd go see a doctor or a nurse and they can give u cream or something

as others have said its either a hair growth spot or a pimple. this is quite common. try and pop it and see if its a pimple. i've had them and by poping them they go away fairly quickly.

Well, internet diagnosis, huh? Hmmmmm. A zit is a raised, circular, red area that often looks pretty angry, and most often has a white spot of varying size in the middle of it. In general, every medical site I've ever been too, every MD I've ever spoken to, has advised against popping them, because you risk infection, and getting a scar or pock mark. Besides, the resulting wound takes as long to heal as the zit does if left alone. The one exception is if there's a hair coming out of the zit, which can be plucked with a tweezer (the zit is the result of a follicular irritation). But don't squeeze.
If you've got, um, friction burn (a mechanical irritation caused by rubbing), it can look like a pimple, but isn't because it's cause isn't a clogged sebaceous gland, but friction from masturbation. If that's the case, squeezing it will create yet another problem there, so you don't want to do that, either. Put some Vaseline jelly on it for a few days and you'll be Ok, and maybe adjust your grip.
