im an ex self harmer myself and i just wanted to tell all of you that youre not alone, we all feel down sometimes some just more than others, and we all have ways of dealing with our emotions some just different from others. if you want to quit (which i recommend, im really glad i quit) dont be afraid to reach out to people who care about, they will help you. if you are quitting and are finding it to hard keep trying, its very hard to quit and not start again it took me about 3 months to quit and get over the urge to do it (with one slight relapse). if i can do it im sure you all can do it too. if youre looking for ways to quit try putting the things you use to harm (ie razors etc) in a box covered in pictures of things you love and people who care about as a reminder youre not alone. try the butterfly project, its what got me to quit. one last thing, dont quit until youre ready and dont do it for anyone but yourself, quit because you want to.
