What do you do if your parents stubbornly deny that being gay is not a choice? Or that it is ok? And you want to continue to live harmoniously with them. Thanks!

The problem is not with proving that homosexuality is natural because, I guess it isn't. Does it go against god's will, check. Is it punishable by the death penalty in many countries across the globe? Check.

What this problem boils down to is you (I assume they're yours) having stupid parents. You have to ask "really, why not?" You have to learn to say "who gives a flying fuck?" Do I care that two men being together is unnatural? Certainly not. I'm attracted to guys and that's just the way it is at this point in time.

Occasionally, somebody will bring up the case of reproduction to further the species. Is a male-male or female-female couple that can't reproduce of lesser moral integrity than a male-female couple that chooses not to? Absolutely not.

You have to learn how to build a case for the "why not?" You shouldn't have to prove anything to your parents. If you can't or don't feel like building your case against them, just show them Christopher Hitchens arguing for the topic. If nothing seems to work, you may just have to accept that you have stupid parents.

Its generally not convincing them that you need to worry about because at the end of the day you could show countless evidence to support that homosexuality isn't a choice however I guess the only thing you can do is talk to them on an open level and ask them why because when you find out the why, then as the person above me says, you can make a case for the "But" or the "Why not".

I know it might be slightly off-topic but, the whole natural debate is so stupid. Natural means something that happens in nature. Humans are a species, in nature, EVERYTHING WE DO IS NATURAL. At least, everything we can't control.

I told my mum that I was born once and she basically laughed in my face, so I never spoke to her about it again! Instead if I ever bring a guy home she knows him as "my friend" I'm not embarrassed of who I am/who I date, I just won't tell my mum again, as far as I'm concerned it's none of her business
