i got begged into playing summer baseball, because they need a catcher. ive never needed to wear a cup before, how do you size them? anyone have a certain brand that is the most comfortable while catching?
finally, what do you guys wear? jockstrap of compression shorts?

this is only my secone post on this fourm, so any other random advice would be awesome!

Bike is the brand. the size of your package has nothing to do with the size of the cup. The only size to worry abt is waist size. Cup comes with jock, so it fits. NO compression shorts! in other sports, fine, other positions, fine. catcher has to be a jock. watch a pro game, that's what they wear. compression shorts with cup doesn't work for catcher because it will slide forward and up when you are catching and if the bottom or your balls aren't covered might as well play naked. go to youtube and look for video. cup is trying to save you from ball coming off bat, into dirt and up into your nuts.

what i meant by cup size, is like bike has a teen, adult and youth. obviously not the youth, but is there a noticeable difference between teen and adult?

thanks for the warning about wearing a jockstrap, i was going to just buy a couple sets of compression shorts
