Water taunted her pale body, as it lay completely submerged
While ribbons of raven hair shyly danced to be heard
Wide eyes whispered all her secrets
That her cold, blue lips would have regret
She'd always been merely a hollowed-out skeleton with shallow breath
Simply a detailed silhouette
Her heart didn't know a beat for many years
The day it did, she drowned in her own
