So I made a split second decision last night in the shower and decided to shave my pubes and surrounding area. I decided to go against the grain and shave my pubes, balls, and kinda my taint/gooch area lol. I know i probably shouldnt have gone against the grain and I put lotion on multiple times yesterday and today. But now its starting to get itchy, im thinking about shaving it again to take it away. But is there way i can get rid of the itch at all?

going against the grain makes it a lot smoother but it seems to only last a day or two then the bumps appear and they are itchy. i have had this problem as well and haven't found a great solution. hydrocortisone cream is for itching?

Best way to stop this from ever recurring is to let your hair grow out and either trim or leave natural... Otherwise you going to be shaving all the time, think about it do you really want too?

I would recommend just trimming next time.

Use some aloe gel, not lotion, make sure it has no alcohol....don't shave again for awhile, it will stop.

Its your first time it takes time for your skin to get use to it

I have done this and i know EXACTLY how to handle it. If you have some after-shave gel, use it. And the next time you feel you need to trim down your pubes, never trim them bare, leave about a half inch. It will help a TON,

well, use shaving cream, dont use a blunt razor, shave with the grain, and dont run over the same area of skin more then once or twice... also if you but moisturizer on it shouldn't itch as much. The first few times though, the skin will still be irritated :)

I've alos had this problem, I had to learn the hard way. Don't shave that area, trim. Trimming makes it look clean, and it doesn't itch after.
