My mum is getting me sooo pissed off lately. It's not the simple things that most teens are angry about

She keeps on calling me baby

Morning baby , time for bed baby , you want some ice cream baby
These are fiew of these annoying sentences I put up with. And it's not that it's when I'm pissed off at something else she comes along starts tickling me and picking me going baby baby baby getting me really annoyed till the extent that I'm roaring at her and she seems to kick off at me

I've tried talking to her but she refuses to listen and I've allways got to admit what I'm doing wrong

My mom does that, but she calls me Babygirl. All the time. Do you know how annoying that is? That's what I call my animals when they do something good, it's not meant for a human!

I put up with it though, because even though it does bug me to no end, she's my mom, and I know it makes her happy when she calls me Babygirl. We have an agreement though, she can't do it when we have guests over. If it's just the family though, I see no point in trying to restrict her happiness. They have their fair share of nicknames too.

About the tickling thing, that should be part of your agreement. No calling you Baby in public, and no tickling. Now THAT'S annoying.

You can try and set some ground rules I guess but, at the end of the day, she's your mom. That's more than enough reason to put up with annoying little antics like this, unless it's causing some actual harm in your life of course (besides just being irritating).

Its an age old saying..."No matter how old you are, you'll always be my baby"

I guess you could talk to her about picking you up and stuff but the "baby" thing is just an expression and a sign of affection and love.
