I want to try out for sports at my high school but I'm afraid of the showers I'll have to take... Basically insecure about downstairs... I'm about 4" flaccid and 6.5" erected right now, but all the guys in my group of friends claim to have bigger and I don't want to get picked on. Should I go for the sport?

If the only reason for not doing the sport is the showering situation then you should really just go ahead and do it anyway. Chances are that most people in the situation are as uncomfortable as you are and nothing will be said. That said, 6.5" is a little above the average size for a fully developed adult so if your friends are saying that they're larger than that then at least some of them are lying.

4 inch is pretty big and u dont HAVE to shower after it at least here where i live u dont and half the guys dont and in some sports none of us do because there is no showers like vollyball or basketball.. but if u do have to shower then just face the wall the whole time and nobody will see it and if they are staring at it then mabey ask them out on a date :)

As everyone has said, if you want to go out for the team go for it....it's your life and you should do what makes YOU happy .....as far as the showers, believe me a lot of guys have that fear at first (not sure of your age, but I started swimming at 8 and have showered since with my team mates)....your development is right on target ....you're already above the average for adult guys....and if you're a teen will probably grow and besides size is not that important in the grand scheme of things.....its been said its not the size of it it's how it is used ....and time will tell that for you :D

I'm just going to say that not doing a sport because you are afraid because your penis is too small when you guys take showers is a really stupid excuse. First off, when you are in the locker room, none of the guys are going to be checking you out, nor will they really want to be looking there. And second, don't let this be in the way of doing a sport you really want to do! You are going to regret not doing the sport because of a stupid shower. So go out for the sport you want to do! Don't let anything get in your way!

Wtf is wrong with your 4 inch flaccid penis? Absolutely nothing! There is no way that any of your friends are going to be more than a centimetre bigger. Man I shower with 20 other guys twice daily! We are all around the same soft. 6.5 is a great erect length, in fact it's an inch bigger than the average male penis size, I would say your friends are lying, the chances of them bing much bigger than you is like 5%

Just go for it. I used to be really shy about that at first for soccer and I just did it and got used to it real fast. Once your there you'll see it's no big deal and I wouldn't worry about penis size because a) yours isn't small and b) most guys in the locker room would never bring admit they were sizing up another dude's junk

Well the weird thing is that a) youre exactly the same size as me - 4inch soft, 6.5 hard; and b) I play a lot of sport and almost always shower fully naked with my teammates.

You have nothing to worry about because the others you mention are almost certainly exaggerating their size or are just measuring it wrong. Among my friends mine is on the big side, and it should be because 4/6.5 is at the top range of average for a fully grown man!

Please dont give up on your sport because of the shower thing. After the first couple of times you really wont care, and i suspect you'll actually get a few envious looks :P As someone said, showering naked together does actually build bonds of trust across your team.

So, don't sweat it. Do the sport that you like. You'll regret it if you choose to drop out of the sport just because you are worried that someone's going to pick on you (which I know for a fact they won't).

Mate a 4" soft dick is fine. When I shower after rugby the smallest dick in the shower is 1.2" and the biggest is a little over 5". Some guys occasionally go hard, but were all from 6"-8" roughly. Go for it. (I'm 4.7")
