It's entirely a myth that this has anything to do with puberty, actually. Your testicles descend when you are an infant. I'm not sure how that misconception got started...

the term "balls drop" means just that. but the balls don't actually drop in puberty. what happens is that when you are a young child they drop and then during puberty the enlarge significantly giving the illusion that they drop and there you are.

Balls drop means your testicles (the odd ball shaped things below/under your penis) drop making them further from your body during puberty.

No, it is not true that a man's testicles "drop" during puberty. Testicles descend from the lower abdomen into the scrotal sac, but this usually takes place during the last two months before or right after birth, not at puberty.

well,
what i think it is is just when your scrotum doesn't really look like a dome anymore. and when the term "they drop" then that means it is released and it just hangs there haha.
thats what i think it is

"Balls Dropping"==slang for having started puberty.
Your testicles descend into the scrotum BEFORE birth. They're in there at birth (unless there's a problem), and at puberty, they grow in size noticeably. Hence, the slang for them 'having dropped'.
