How to get over someone?

Right well I went out with a girl about 6 months back, it was great we both really liked each other but we broke up shortly after as we had a big argument. She got over me pretty quickly but I just cant seem to get over her. She now has a relationship with a guy about 2 years older than me and they are pretty serious. I was starting to get over her but then I saw her at a party and was with her most of the night and ever since I havent been able to get her out my head. Its driving me mad as theres nothing I can do about it!

How do I get over her?

Getting over someone is hard. You have two options in my opinion: Get someone new OR just wait it out. It's going to be extremely difficult either way, but that's just life.

I was afraid of that. I was planning on waiting it out but its been 6 months and theres no change to how I feel :confused: Id rather not have to get over, I dont want my feelings to change but I cant just carry on liking her and not ever being able to do anything about it, so I guess getting over her is my only option.

It really is hard to get over people. About 2 mounths ago i broke up with my ex boyfriend of about 7 month. I found it really hard i cried every night for about two weeks, but in the end i got a new boyfriend and that was my way of moving on. You may find its better for you just not to get another girl but there is no harm in looking. You may even find someone you like even if you dont intend to get together with anyone.
