Here in holland EVERYONE wears jeans and sneakers. (with everyone I mean teens)
and then a random shirt above it.
Adult men just dress in very general clothing for every occasion, suits arent very common.
adult women always blond their hair (its gross IMO) where huge boots and weird purple clothing LOL

V&D, not sure if you have that in america, is basicly the super-general-not to priced store where most people buy clothing.
A popular brand here is Jack&Jones for jeans and shirts.
shoes are mostly nikes.

There's Adidas and Nike for sportswear, Jack & Jones, H&M and Zara for Casual, and I personally like Mckenzie and Ecko for shirts. Converse shoes have been in trend for some time, but I don't really like them.
We don't have A&F and that sort of stuff here.
All this, in Spain

Fashion in 1st world countries is becoming very universal. I lived in France for a good portion of my life, and teen fashion is pretty similar. Actually, to tell the truth, people are more open there, meaning there are a lot more flamboyantly dressed guys. Especially in places like Amsterdam. :P

Ahhh I see, some are like here in America. Ive been told by many people that H&M, Oakley are european styles. Here Nike, is used by the people who cant afford Rebok or Adidas or Puma. like I try to be as Euro as possible with clothing.

In the UK a lot of people try to dress "Hipster" or "Indie", most people shop at River island and Topman/Topshop. A lot of people wear Converse and Vans like in America but other types of shoe are popular to. And there's a lot of phases such as Denim, Camo, Studs, Aztec and tie dye. Oh and people are really into designer stuff and there's been an influx of people trying to create their own clothing brands, British trends and Fashion changes a lot..

There are no hipsters here in america. well I have never seen one here but the fashion here its just too low class sometimes. People here dress to important places in basketball shorts snapbacks nike shirts. real low class. but I really want to know how the british trend is.

You see, most clothes shops in gringoland (the US) are from europe (like Adidas, Zara, Totto) so you can expect them to wear similar things.

From what I know, some of the styles Europe has would be considered flamboyant in the US.

I was in France about a year ago and I noticed that the clothing was more unique and stylish. A curious thing was that no one wore shorts even though it was the middle of the summer.

European fashion is in a way a lot more freer than America. What would be considered a metrosexual or homosexual look in America would be considered normal in Europe.
Most Americans think Europeans dress "gay", when in reality, Europeans have a higher standard of dressing.

well it depends, mostly its the same but wearing sneakers jeans and a t-shirt is not considered fashion its just cloths, fashion is much more complicated and most people don't and don't realy follow fashion following fashion means changing your hole wardrobe every 3 months, according to the latest new design and fashion (la mode) doesn't stop at cloths it's everything! architecture, paintings, sculptures to the design of forks, tvs and all of the stuff made by humans...
I guess people who follow fashion wear the same in Europe, America, or ant other continent...

yes i agree. Many americans consider euro fashion gay. happens alot in my school because it looks gay to americans. I like the european fashion more than american though.
