Vaxhall? That's like the British division of General Motors. No, don't get a GM car. Trust me, they are an inferior company funded by American taxpayers...our idiot president bailed them out. GM cars fall apart faster then you can buy them.
Range Rovers are always neat...but they're also very pricy. My first car will probably be a tiny used sedan. But I know for a fact it won't be GM. After having three terrible General Motors cars, my dad vowed never to buy one again. My first car will probably be from Asia.

The Vauxhall corsa's are nice, cheap on parts and insurance and they are quite realiable :D

Vaxhalls are rubbish. I hate them. Anything made by GM is garbage. If you want something relatively cheap, go with a mini. They are cool, a blast to drive and cheap.
My first car was a new Jaguar XKR-S, but my parents are loaded so I got that. I will be trading it in soon for a 2014 Jaguar F-Type V6S because I love that car so much.
Anyways buy a mini!

You sure about that? Vaxhall is like the British Chevy.

Well I work at a Jag dealer so I got a discount, but my dad is a big executive at a company and makes huge money. I love my XKR-S, but I love the new F-Type better. I may end up keeping my XKR-S and getting the F-Type as a 2nd car.

I'm only 17 so I'm really lucky that my first car was a $135,000 car. I've only had for 8 months.

Go for it. As long as the car is fairly new (10 years old or less) you should be fine! General Motors is my favorite vehicle manufacturer in the world. I don't care what anyone else says, our family has always had good luck with them. My dad has a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GT with 336,000+ miles on it and counting. It's my most respected car ever. Take care of your car, and it will take care of you.
As for the Range Rover, ehh, I'd be a little cautious. Call me ignorant, but Land rover does not carry a very good reputation for reliability. Potential repairs may be expensive, plus the gas mileage is less than desirable. To each his own.
As for me personally, I drive a 2003 black on black Chrysler 300M. My heart and soul lies in that car, just as much as the Motor City, the state of Michigan, and the United States as a whole. Other choices included a Cadillac Deville or a Pontiac Grand Prix GT. I'm more than proud to drive American.

It's good to see that you seem to appreciate it. Most kids take things like that for granted and never truly realize how fortunate they are to be able to get a taste of the finer things in life - especially at such a young age.

Well I count this as a grey area, my very first car was a 2004 Toyota 4-Runner, but within a week of getting my license I hit a deer and totalled the car. I then took the insurance money and purchased a 1997 Subaru Legacy, saved up a bit more then bought a rolled 2007 Subaru WRX STI and got to work on a huge swap. The only "Legacy" part still on my car is basically the body and frame. Engine and transmission were fully rebuilt...and heavily modded...STI suspension, brakes, hubs, interior, the works. It did take me about 9 months to do the swap since I was doing it after school/work, and on weekends when I had free time, so my dad also bought me a 2012 BMW M6. I basically count the 3 as my first cars since they were all purchased within a month of eachother...still have the Legasti and the M6

I do. I am so thankful that God blessed us like this so I could have the cars I do and the things I do. It's only through the grace of God and if he wanted, it could all be taken away in the blink of an eye.

The insurance must be pretty damn high for a 17 year old driving a car that expensive

I have my moms old car - a 2007 Land Cruiser. Running up on 178K miles. Damn, that car is reliable. My dad can well over afford to get me a nice new car - and he was about to get me the new '14 Lexus IS but one of his employees convinced him it was a bad idea :(
Eh, maybe more convincing

Thank you. I'm given these things only through Gods grace. Don't take things in life for granted, because he could take them away faster than he gave them to you. I'm a form believer of that.

I should. Some people on here are extremely snobby and full of themselves. Besides my cars, I really don't show my wealth. I wear normal clothes and don't do many rich people stuff. I have a job at the Jag dealer I bought my car at and I donate it all to my church.

Yes my family too is very blessed in concerns to money, though we learnt that god gives and takes away, as in terms of h taking away we have been verry unfortunate as I have list two brothers and my father.
